Shipping & Delivery Policy

This Shipping & Delivery Policy ("Policy") governs the shipment and delivery of products purchased through Raksham's website, Android application, iOS application, and related services (collectively referred to as the "Platform").

Raksham is owned, managed, and operated by Yellow Tree ("Organization").

By placing an order through Raksham, you agree to the terms of this Policy.

1. Overview

Raksham offers products and services including but not limited to:

  • Veterinary medicines
  • Prescription medicines
  • Pet food
  • Nutritional supplements
  • Pet accessories
  • Pet healthcare products
  • Pet hygiene products
  • Other pet-related products and services

Delivery availability may vary based on product category, location, regulatory requirements, and logistics partner coverage.

2. Serviceable Locations

Raksham currently delivers to selected locations within India. Delivery availability depends on:

  • Customer address
  • PIN code serviceability
  • Product category
  • Regulatory restrictions
  • Logistics partner coverage

Certain remote, restricted, or non-serviceable areas may not be eligible for delivery. Raksham reserves the right to refuse delivery to locations that cannot be reasonably serviced.

3. Order Processing

Orders are processed after:

  • Successful payment confirmation
  • Prescription verification (where applicable)
  • Internal order validation

Order processing timelines may vary depending on product availability, prescription review requirements, business holidays, and operational conditions. Most orders are processed within 1–3 business days.

4. Prescription Verification Delays

Certain medicines may require prescription validation before shipment. In such cases:

  • Shipment may be delayed until verification is completed
  • Customers may be contacted for additional information
  • Orders may be cancelled if prescription requirements are not satisfied

Raksham shall not be liable for delays arising from incomplete or invalid prescription submissions.

5. Estimated Delivery Timelines

Estimated delivery timelines are displayed for convenience only and are not guaranteed. Typical delivery timelines:

  • Metro Cities: 2–5 Business Days
  • Tier 2 Cities: 3–7 Business Days
  • Tier 3 Cities & Remote Areas: 5–10 Business Days

Actual delivery timelines may vary depending on product availability, courier partner performance, weather conditions, regulatory requirements, local restrictions, and force majeure events.

6. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges, if applicable, will be displayed during checkout before order confirmation. Raksham may offer free shipping promotions, minimum order value benefits, and product-specific shipping offers. Shipping charges are subject to change without prior notice.

7. Split Shipments

Orders containing multiple products may be shipped separately due to different warehouse locations, product availability, regulatory requirements, or logistics optimization. Customers may receive multiple shipments, multiple tracking updates, and separate delivery dates. No additional shipping charges will be imposed solely because an order is split into multiple shipments.

8. Tracking Information

Where available, tracking details will be shared through SMS, email, mobile application notifications, and the customer account dashboard. Tracking updates depend on information provided by logistics partners.

9. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing:

  • Accurate name
  • Correct mobile number
  • Complete delivery address
  • Correct PIN code

Raksham shall not be responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or losses resulting from incorrect information provided by customers.

10. Delivery Attempts

Delivery partners may make multiple attempts to complete delivery. If delivery cannot be completed due to customer unavailability, incorrect address, incorrect contact details, or refusal to accept delivery, the shipment may be returned to the originating facility. Additional delivery charges may apply for re-dispatch requests.

11. Inspection at Delivery

Customers are encouraged to inspect packages upon delivery. If a package appears damaged, tampered, opened, or leaking, customers should photograph the package immediately and report the issue to Raksham within 48 hours of delivery. Failure to report within this period may affect eligibility for claims under the Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy.

12. Delayed Deliveries

While Raksham strives to deliver products within estimated timelines, delays may occur due to factors beyond reasonable control, including extreme weather conditions, public holidays, transportation disruptions, government restrictions, regulatory inspections, natural disasters, public emergencies, and logistics partner issues. Raksham shall not be liable for losses arising solely from delivery delays.

13. Non-Delivery and Lost Shipments

If an order is marked as delivered but has not been received, customers should notify Raksham within 48 hours. Raksham may investigate such claims with the logistics partner before determining the appropriate resolution. Replacement or refund decisions shall be subject to investigation outcomes.

14. Restricted and Regulated Products

Certain products may be subject to regulatory restrictions, prescription requirements, or geographic delivery limitations. Raksham reserves the right to refuse shipment of regulated products where delivery is not legally permissible.

15. Force Majeure

Raksham shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, or failures in delivery caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, epidemics, government actions, internet outages, transportation failures, labour disputes, and public emergencies. Delivery commitments shall be suspended for the duration of such events.

16. International Shipping

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Raksham currently ships only within India. International shipping, if introduced in the future, may be governed by separate terms and conditions.

17. Changes to This Policy

Raksham reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the Platform with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
